Another bunch of reminders

I gave you the wrong infor for the hotel in Paris. It's even nicer than that. It's the Comfort Hotel Median. Here's the website: http://www.choicehotels.fr/hotels/hotel?hotel=FR112

Also, Simon Cole, our tour guide, reminded me to tell you that there are some discounts available to students and teachers, so if you get this in time, please bring your student ID (teachers, your teacher ID badge should work).

So far I know of five vegetarians. If there are any more, I need to know ASAP.

Someone asked for dimensions of bags again.
Carry-on: should not be more than 9 x 14 x 22 in. (23 x 35 x 56 cm) (length x width x height) or 45 linear inches* (114 linear cm)
Checked: not more than 62 linear inches (158 linear cm)* and 50 lbs.
(23 kg)
(But again, you will have to lug your stuff, so don't aim for the maximum.)

Hope all the packing is going well. See you tomorrow morning, bright and early!

  1. Hey travelers!

After so many months of planning and anticipation, it was so exciting to see you heading off on that goofy, yellow school bus past a very deconstructed Central High School. You are finally on your way.

You're a great group! You've worked hard for this opportunity. Every experience is a gift. Unwrap them with curiosity and appreciation. They will last a lifetime.

  2. Hi All!

It's the first morning of Summer for Central teachers, here on this side of the pond. WooHoo!

I'm gonna go get a Starbucks and read through all of the current posts, while eagerly awaiting your reports of the sacking of London (or wherever you are)!

Lou and I are going on a bit of a road trip starting tomorrow and we're taking our little netbook, so I'll be able to keep up with your progress.

I'm looking forward to vicariously experiencing Euroupe through your senses.

Hope your all doing well after all the flights and travel.

Have some bangers and mash for me!

    Cheers!

  3. What better way to start your summer than to witness first hand some of the greatest sights in the world! Take advantage of every moment and commit it to memory so you can share it with all of us when you return. I am so happy that you’ve taken this opportunity of a lifetime!

The Chase family wishes you safe travel; moments of overwhelming wonderment; and plenty of rest when you get home.
